No Limits The B-Side Band performing and available for your venue or special event in the Twin Cities and surrounding states. The is goal is to provide music that excites and enlightens the soul. Duane (Prophet) Smith
Born in Chicago, Duane started his formal training
in 1973 playing the trumpet in the marching band for CVS High School until he graduated in 1977.
Duane played bass in a local rock band as a teenager but didn't play again until 2003. Duane pick up the Fender Jazz Bass and the marriage is still strong today.
He grew up loving Motown, R&B, Funk, Soul and Blues music which has carried over to his musical career. His bass playing has been influenced by Motown legends James Jameson, Marcus Miller, Ray Brown and others.
Born in West Virginia, he started out as a child musician at the age of 11. He comes from a musical family where his mother is a pianist and his brother played trumpet. His talents allowed him to pursue teaching music and performing.
Jamie's musical influences are Wes Montgomery, Jimi Hendrix and Andres Segovia. You can find Jamie playing around town with couple other groups in the local scene.
Roceathia "Pearl” Angelina Cornell
Born October 8, 1974 in Detroit, MI. Roceathia found her passion in singing and song writing at the young age of eight when she began writing and performing songs for her family band P.S.C.B or Purple Silk Club & Band. She would perform as background singers in backyard across the city of Detroit for parties and other celebrations, with her family.
Roceathia recently returned to MN to resumed the lead singing responsibility with Cash & Carry Band and No Limits the B-Side. Roceathia influences are Aretha Franklin, Etta James, Mary J Blige and Jill Scott.
Minnesota native, Jesse studied keyboard performance at the McNally Smith College of
Music. Jesse love all genre of music and plays in several band in the Twin Cities.
Minnesota native who been a drummer for
over 20 years. Aaron also a sound techincian is instrumental in helping keep No Limits sound in the pocket.Aaron music styles varies from
Blues, Rock and R & B.
Native of Toronto, Canada and spent much of her youth singing in church choirs and performed in local theater.
Performed several wedding singing gigs and relocated to MN 15 years ago. Helena had a great experience as one of the backup singers for the "Wenso Ashby Project" since 2009. Her musical influences are Billie Holiday, Natalie Cole, Jill Scott, and Sade.
